Organic grapes are grown avoiding any synthetic pesticides or additives and are also made without any added sulfites (though naturally occurring sulfites will still be present).
Biodynamic wine uses proven organic practices but also uses farming methods that enliven the soil and protect the land for future generations. Practices include enhancing compost with minerals and herbs that when applied to the fields intensify the sunlight permeated into the plant.
Largely organically or biodynamically grown grapes but also incorporates economically viable and socially responsible practices such as a focus on energy and water conservation, and other renewable resources.
